Originally South Texas Medical Clinics, PA, the prestigious Memorial Herman Medical Group (MHMG) joined the clinic in May 2012 and provides the highest quality care for patients in the Wharton County area. The experienced physicians provide experience and expertise in their medical specialties, but the heart of the practice is the caring and empathetic relationships with patients based on two-way communication. The clinic is the result of a merger in August 1985 of two highly respected multi-specialty groups: Outlar and Blair Clinic and Rugeley and Blassingame Clinic. The purpose of the merger was, and is, to efficiently provide comprehensive, personal health care services. ensuring the best possible care for its patients and community.

Healthcare Technology Group (HTG) was formed in Houston, Texas, in 1992, as a subsidiary of Southwest Medical Ventures. HTG has grown rapidly into a separate entity composed of engineers, scientists, physicians, business, and marketing professionals specializing in the analysis of information regarding new technology and its adoption by the health care industry. The services provided by the company include strategic planning with an emphasis on technology forecasting, evaluation, and development. HTG conducts market surveys and organizes seminars, workshops, and focus groups on a proprietary basis for clients. In 1998, HTG moved to Wharton, Texas
