Airports

Locally convenient. Internationally connected.

Wharton Regional Airport: Strategic corporate connection.  Just five miles from Wharton’s central business district, this municipally-owned facility eases and facilitates corporate travel, with an asphalt runway of more than 5,000 feet, an automated weather service (AWS) and JetA 100LL 24-hr. fueling capability with credit card, as well as available hangars and jet maintenance.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport (AIH): Top non-stop. Ranked #3 in the nation among airports with non-stop domestic and international flights, the Bush Airport flies some 40 million passengers annually and transports upwards of 1.7 million pounds of cargo worldwide through the award-winning George Bush International CargoCenter. More than 700 daily departures provide 116 non-stop connections to domestic destinations and 70 direct connections to international destinations. The airport provides more connections to Mexico than any other airline, and serves as headquarters and the busiest hub for United Airlines.

William P. Hobby Airport: Now taking off. This rapidly growing passenger facility has become one of Southwest Airlines’ busiest hubs, offering service to more than 50 destinations in the U.S. and Latin America.
